The food here was absolutely delicious. The green curry had a beautiful balance of spice and flavour, perfectly complemented by the sweet coconut rice. The chicken skewers came with a thick, rich sauce that was incredibly tasty, and the massaman curry was my friend’s favourite of the night. The pork belly was my personal favourite - perfectly crispy and packed with flavour. Portion sizes were extremely generous - as you can probably tell, even from the chicken skewers (sorry for the messy photo, we dove straight in!). The staff were friendly and amazingly efficient for a team of just three; we received our food surprisingly quickly despite how busy it was. And finally, the price - so affordable it was almost shocking. We wish we lived closer, but at least we ordered way too much and of course had to get extra coconut rice to finish off the leftovers. Highly recommend!

Amazing service by the owners of this small family run restaurant! The chef was really friendly, he even came out to play the piano after he was done cooking. Atmosphere was fantastic, he sent us off with a song that we could all sing and dance to and it was such a great end to our day. They also serve authentic thai food, everything we ordered was delicious! Would recommend the tomyum soup, pad thai with crispy chicken, and green beans with pork belly! You won’t regret coming here. Highly recommend!!

We have loved Yumm Thai whilst living in Newcastle. Best Thai in town! The owners are lovely and very generous. Couldn’t fault them at all.

This was by far the best Thai food we have had in Newcastle and maybe even Australia. We ordered the chicken & Cashew dishes which had the richest flavours scented with all the right Thai spices. Definitely recommend asking for the coconut rice too!

Super tasty food - really really nice. "Interesting" decor but food is fantastic. Have had takeaway a few times now and have been very impressed. Highly recommended. Note: Photos are takeaway served at home.
