We had a great dining experience at Yakamoz. The eggplant hot meze was absolutely delicious — full of flavour and perfectly balanced. The scotch fillet was cooked beautifully and easily the highlight of the meal. The wood-fired potatoes were nice and well done, though a bit more simple compared to the other dishes. That said, the wood-fired bread was excellent and paired wonderfully with everything on the table. Overall, very high-quality food and a place I’d happily return to. Highly recommended.

We went to Yakamoz for dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a really lovely experience. When we arrived it was fairly quiet, which made it relaxed and comfortable, and it gradually got busy later in the evening, creating a nice buzz without feeling chaotic. The food was the standout. The balloon bread came out hot, perfectly puffed and soft, with a rich, flavour-packed dip on the side. The eggplant dish topped with yoghurt was beautifully done – smoky, creamy and full of depth. We also ordered a lahmacun and a cheesy meat pide; both had crisp, well-cooked bases and generous, fresh toppings. For mains, the grilled lamb cutlets and the steak were cooked just right – tender, juicy and well-seasoned, with simple sides that complemented rather than competed with the meat. We finished with a tiramisu that was moist, not overly sweet, and a great way to end the meal. Service was friendly and efficient throughout, and dishes came out at a good pace even as the restaurant got busier. Overall, Yakamoz delivered excellent Turkish food with fresh ingredients and good hospitality. We’ll happily come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, tasty night out.

Overall, I was very impressed with Yakamoz & I will definitely be back. Food was full of flavour! Did the set menu, had MORE than enough food, every dish that we ordered was genuinely impressive, meat was tender, and presentation was great. Music playing in the restaurant set such a vibe. Staff were lovely and gave us some great recommendations.

Yakamoz has a lovely, warm vibe — perfect for a casual night out with friends or family, especially since the menu is made for sharing. We tried the sausage pide, muhamara, corn ribs, roasted cauliflower, roasted tomatoes, and halloumi cheese — and everything came out full of flavour and freshness. The sausage pide was definitely a standout and a must-order staple! The corn ribs were such a hit — even the kids couldn’t get enough. The roasted cauliflower was beautifully soft and literally melted in your mouth. The only miss for us was the halloumi, which was a bit too salty for our taste. Also love that it’s by the same owners of Charr’d, the newly opened and much-hyped burger spot that was recently ranked 15th best burger place in the world! Overall, great service, great atmosphere, and definitely worth a visit.

Yakamoz is an absolute must-visit. The atmosphere has a warm, modern Mediterranean feel, and the food is just incredible — full of flavour, generous portions, and served at a good pace. The whole menu is designed for sharing and feels both traditional and innovative at the same time. Service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable.
