Willing Wine Bar continues to be one of my favourite places to spend an evening. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed โ the kind of space that makes it easy to settle in, talk for hours, and truly enjoy the company youโre with. The service is exceptional. The staff are genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and so good at what they do โ thoughtful food and wine pairing recommendations, just the right selection of wines, and guidance that feels confident without ever being pushy. You really feel looked after. As a long-time customer, I can honestly say the difference under the new ownership is noticeable in the best way. The space feels more thoughtful, warm, and effortlessly welcoming โ thereโs a softness and care to the experience now that makes it feel even more special. And finallyโฆ two words you wonโt forget anytime soon: savoury donuts. Enough said. Highly recommend โ a beautiful spot done exceptionally well.
I've been here twice now for just a snack and a glass or two of wine. I can't speak for the whole menu but the oysters were so delicious and the cream puffs also. Angela certainly knows her wines and takes the time to explain different varieties, enabling one to match what one is eating. The ambience is so pleasant and the service attentive, but not intrusive. This place is a real gem. Will be back for the full dining experience soon.
the most amazing staff, food and atmosphere. itโs my favourite place in the city. such beautiful people, Ryan the chef is accomodating to me being vegetarian! Vashti is so lovely and makes me feel so welcome every time!
We had a very pleasant evening here. Service was excellent. Food was great, the steak was excellent and the entrees we chose were absolutely on point. Recommended for sure
We stopped for a drink and stayed for dinner: It just has the right atmosphere, people and food. One of the best places we have visited while in Hobart and an absolute gem: Food is fresh, tastefully done with focus on ingredients and quality of the produce. Wine list is on point and the two lovely gentlemen who run it really good at what they do.
