Great coffee, great bakes. You won't regret anything you have here. Fast and efficient service even if there's a line. Standing room outside while you wait for your coffee and a couple of cute little spots to sit. You could easily walk from the beach or there is a few streets parks. Seems very dog friendly. Great vibe.
So delicious! The pastries were fresh, packed with flavor, and just the right amount of sweetness. My favorite was the bee stingโusually not a pastry youโd rave about, but this one was something special! The salted caramel chocolate tart was a total winner too. We chowed down in the car, and when the bearded staff guy walked by, his nod confirmed what we already knew: those pastries were absolute perfection! Can't wait to get back and try some more!
The almond croissant was one of the, if not the best almond croissant I have ever eaten. Now thatโs a big claim which I donโt make lightly. Coffee was great but I feel 95% of coffee in Perth is. The takeaway cups had cool patterns so thatโs a plus.
Posting this review after visiting the place around 4 times. Discovered this quaint little bakery around 6 months back while looking for a breakfast place in Fremantle. I pride myself on spotting great bakeries, and this was no exception. They have a wide selection of breads, savoury baked goods and desserts. They also have some great selection of thin crust pizzas slices. To complement that, they boast a great coffee menu and some decent lemonades and kombuchas. Letโs get into it in detail. Itโs not a huge bakery, so the seating is extremely limited, and it can get difficult to eat here if itโs a sunny day, but itโs bakery food, so we made it work. The ambience is a decent 3.5/5 Now the food. Below are the things we have tried so far: 1. Almond Croissant: Rich, buttery, flaky and delicious. 4.5/5 2. Pain au chocolates: Flaky with a some smooth dark chocolate. Could be a little more fresh though. 4/5 3. Orange cake: Super moist to the last bite. Loved it 5/5 4. Margarita slice: Crust was nice and thin. Not as well done as I like and a bit chewy since it stays in the display and is reheated. Also, a bit on the oily side. Since I am a pizza fanatic, I will rate this a 3/5 5. Fruit pie: Good. Nothing spectacular, but gets the job done. 4/5 6: Coffee: Good 4/5 We have also tried their while wheat bread loaf. Itโs quite good. 4/5 All in all, itโs a solid 4/5 for their food. Try their croissants and baked stuff. Pizzas are a bit of a let down. The service was also decent. Nothing standout but nothing to complain about. :) 4/5
Wow! A good friend of mine who is also a foodie who lives 1 suburb away actually recommended this place to me for pastries and bread. When I was in the neighborhood, I took a chance and went there (despite it being after lunch). Boy he was spot on! This bakery is wonderful and yummy! Which is not a surprise for Inglewood. I should have bought more, dang i! Despite the "higher" price (ahem), the ham and cheese croissant was heavenly! Super crusty yummy. I think they used Gouda cheese as well (can't be sure). The chocolate hazelnut nut was also magnificent. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area..... Can't wait!
