The best sandwich I have had in my life. I have an addiction now 🤤 freshly made with items from their deli. Such lovely friendly guys working there. My new go to.

My wife and I stumbled across Vitalia’s Deli walking down the street and couldn’t resist stopping in. Upon waking in we were greeted with such a fresh and vibrant meat and cheese case and standing behind the counter was the kindest smile and a warm welcoming, ‘Hi welcome in my name is Hector how can I help you’. It’s so nice to witness great customer service this day and age! Hector recommended the Italian Stallion sandwich on Focaccia which ended up being so unbelievable!! Like fireworks in your mouth, the pesto was so fresh and the bread was so pillowy. We have been to Italy and this was a great reminder of our past trip. We still have two more weeks left here in Cairns and without a doubt we will be back!! The only thing missing is an espresso maker which was told it’s on the list of equipment that will be added. Do your mouth a favor and stop in!! Thank you Hector ❤️

Phenomenal focaccia! Very sad it’s our last day in cairns as this place is the best! It seems pricey for a sandwich but it is HUGE (two meals for me) and the freshest nicest handmade food.

Honestly…. Could not get enough of the spicy Salami Calzone *insert drool* absolutely one of the best things we ate drunk or sober in Cairns! Wanted to take a pic… but couldn’t stop munching on it

Very unique Italian restaurant that serves street food. Great vibe, friendly staff. Can watch them prepare your meal so quickly, so you know your food is made to order. Highly recommend the fried pizza which is a dough with pizza filling inside (like pizza pockets). Check it out, the taste is excellent and it's great takeaway, eat on the go foods.
