Best customer service in Broadbeach. Urban Fish Market is combined with Urban Eatery and Cafe. One, as youโ€™ve probably guessed, serves seafood. Delicious, fresh seafood with large portions. The other serves a great breakfast and lunch menu. Friday is our night for dining out as a family. My wife and I ordered the Urban For Two, which included 2 NZ hoki, 6 calamari rings, 2 prawn cutlets, a heaping serve of perfectly cooked chips, a couple lemon wedges and tartare sauce. We ordered our daughter the Fish Bites and Chips kids meal. Most cafes would throw a couple pieces of fish from the frozen food section of their local grocery on the kids serve. But it was high quality, fresh fish. My daughter was originally going for the chicken nuggets but she was glad she chose the fish. A tip to those parents on a budget. If youโ€™re average eaters, skip the kids meal and just order the Urban for Two. Itโ€™s plenty for everyone. That will leave a little extra cash to give a tip. Which I donโ€™t usually recommend on Australian hospitality reviews. This place does a pretty good trade, and as usually experienced on the Gold Coast the customer service is usually lacking, but not Urban Fish Market. Friendly from the time we walked in. When I went up to order at the counter, the person working the counter (red head - my apologies for the poor description) went above and beyond to make sure she was genuinely polite, asked the right questions, gave all the right answers, and left people feeling they were in good hands. After a slight miscommunication where I ordered sparkling and it was assumed I meant sparkling water instead of wine (I was wondering why she asked if I wanted 3 glasses. My daughter is 8! Ha. Ha.), the manager/supervisor who brought the water to our table quickly fixed it. He said they focus on providing good customer service. Which they did with flying colours. He did forget to reduce the price of the wine by the amount I was charged for the water I didnโ€™t order, but we were having such a good conversation all is forgiven. The only thing I could see that might be improved is the choice of non- seafood food items. I know, itโ€™s a seafood restaurant. But, the Urban Eatery that closes at 2pm, has a wide assortment of menu items, baked goods, and lighter meals. Itโ€™s fantastic as well. Urban fish Market has a beef burger and Yiros as seafood alternate. The combination of the two dining experiences, makes is a great restaurant from morning to night. Weโ€™ll definitely be back. Extras: - has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - great for families, couples or singles. - serves alcohol (make sure you say sparkling wine instead of just sparkling though) Location: across from the Wave Resort and Yo-Chi.

During our visit to the Gold Coast, we enjoyed lunch outdoors with our dog. We were keen on seafood so ordered fish and chips for 2 , Morton bay bug and some oysters. The food was fantastic, especially the chips.

At The the urban fish market their whole menu is gluten free! Absolutely unreal food if you are a coeliac. The crumbed prawn burger was sensational and the bread some of the best gluten free bread Iโ€™ve eaten. Will definitely be recommending to fellow coeliacs. Thank you so much for creating an inclusive environment ๐Ÿฅน

A restaurant and cafe that doesn't rank for gluten free when they have a dedicated gluten free kitchen...what?!? Anyways their food was delicious. Didn't matter which mean we chose we had from the cafe we also had some stuff from the fish market they were all good. Highlight for me was your tiramisu baked cake I was both gluten and dairy free. You wouldn't believe it was gf and df. Services four stars because on the day that we were leaving I got take away and purchase sauce. Unfortunately the sauce did not make it into the takeaway bag and I also didn't check which was partially my fault. I did call up and they try to reverse the $2 charge however that couldn't be done. Also wasn't a way to email contact or do something about it I guess in the next year when we come up to the Gold coast we'll see if that they will still honour the $2. Sometimes I feel it's only $2 and other times I wonder well if I didn't want to have the sauce then I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place. This is by no means a reflection cuz they obviously have fantastic customer service. When we had lunch then every single waitress served with a smile. And a difference was that they were smiling even before they got to you. They just all seem very genuinely happy which is not the experience we've had and most other places. Couldn't recommend them enough.
