Tomo is a fantastic ans simple spot for Japanese cuisine lovers. The menu offers a great balance of hot and cold dishes, making it perfect for sharing and trying a bit of everything. My absolute favourite is the Tofu Teriaki, perfectly cooked, full of flavour and beautifully glazed with teriyaki sauce. Every dish we tried was fresh, well presented and carefully prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is attentive without being over the top. You can choose your meal online and get for take away or you can eat there as well. Highly recommended for a casual dinner, date night or when youโre craving quality Japanese food in Subiaco. ๐ฃโจ
The food is outstanding. My photos don't do it justice. We usually go for dinner. Big portions of freshly cooked meat and flavourful accompaniments are a guarantee. I've never left hungry or dissatisfied. The sushi is fantastic too, easily the best I've had here in Perth. Lots of takeaway lunch options. The service is so nice. We love the staff. Everyone I've brought here has loved it. Even my fussy mum will eat the "weird Asian" food here ๐คญ Always a pleasure to visit and I will continue to come as long as I can.
Food was delicious and fresh and generous portion, price reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Staffs are so friendly. Place is very cosy. I would recommend this place to all my friends. ๐ The vibe there is amazing ๐คฉ. I had my dinner there and bought takeaway as well. I know it was plenty of food but I just can't help myself. Everything is so fresh.
After a long and cold day, this restaurant served the perfect comfort food. We had the tofu katsu curry and kimchi udon - both were super delicious, the portions are generous and incredibly filling. Highly recommend!
A casual place to enjoy some good & freshly prepared meals. My son & I got there early evening last Saturday around 5.30pm. Venue is small, felt more like a lunch bar rather than a restaurant. The lady behind the counter was friendly & allowed us to choose any available table after handing us some menus to look at. A few tables are occupied by families enjoying early dinner. After deciding what we wanted, I proceeded to order over the counter & paid. We ordered the following : FRESH SALMON SASHIMI (9PCS) $24 CHICKEN KARAAGE CURRY bite-sized Japanese deep fried chicken & curry on rice $20.50 PLAIN UDON udon noodle & savory broth $14.50 Food came out in good time & were freshly prepared & cooked. Serving sizes were also generous & filling. Everything tasted great & we were happy. With drinks, our bill totaled to around $65. Definitely recommend this place, we would certainly be back!
