Went on a trip to Cairns the other weekend and this restaurant was nearby, so I decided to go and I had a such lovely dinning experience here. The food was absolutely delicious and genuinely satisfying -- all dishes tasted fresh and full of flavour. The other thing that really stood out for me was the customer service there, Andrea was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave me some really solid recommendations on what to order. He was attentive throughout and always served with a smile. This is a rare place where gets both their food and their service right, and it certainly has made my trip to Cairns more memorable. Highly recommend! :)

We stayed 6 nights at Doubletree Hilton Cairns so had many meals at The Vine Room in the restaurant and via room service. The food was always outstanding, as was the service and wonderful hospitality of the staff. Excellent vista and a beautiful restaurant! Highly recommend!!! 😊

Let me tell you…. This is a beautiful restaurant to eat, the service is excellent, everything you see is amazing. I was hoping to eat gf pasta or pizza,but I had a delicious polenta meal, a bit salty for my taste but edible, the kids meals were very nice and generous. I loved the drink Paloma, I would definitely recommend it but I would also suggest to amplify your gf opinions.

Visited this newly opened restaurant with friends. The location by the sea is great, with a lovely atmosphere and live music. Service was excellent — special thanks to Laura, Val, and Kurumi. They were friendly, cheerful, and made us feel very welcome. I took quite a while to decide what to order, and they gave me plenty of space and time without any pressure, which I really appreciated. I ordered a medium rare steak, but unfortunately it came out closer to medium well. It honestly felt like the kitchen may not have a clear understanding of what medium rare should be, which was disappointing — especially considering the price ($59). While the service and environment were outstanding, the food did not meet expectations. I hope the restaurant can improve food quality and consistency in the future, as it has great potential.

For the second time in two and a half years I stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton while working in Cairns , it was good in 2024 but this time in November 2025 the staff were excellent and especially the Vine restaurant and bar staff of Valeria Lari, Simone Pelegrín , Alessia Morise and Dan , they made us feel like family, we had such a laugh, cocktail mixing exhibitions and lots of conversations. The new Vine restaurant, bar and pool ( especially after a long day at work) are superb. We invited fellow workers staying at other hotels to eat at The Vine and they loved it too saying next time that’s where they will stay. Great place, great people, thank you. We miss the food and Long Island Iced Teas so we’ll be back .
