Being from the north of Tassie, we (4 adults) were looking for a place for a nice cooked breakfast after a concert the night before. Being a Sunday I thought it may be difficult to get a table however we tried The Metz and were greeted and seated quickly. Our coffee order was taken straight away, and brought out quickly, and our food order taken. My Eggs Benedict were amazing, so tasty, as were the eggs Benny of another of our party who also had added extras. The other meals were also very much enjoyed. (I wish I’d taken some photos.) And we considered everything reasonably priced. Could not fault our experience at The Metz. Thanks guys!

Fabulous food! Half price pizza Monday is such amazing value. The stand out, is the staff though. They are always fantastic. We’re regulars here now I’d say, for very good reason. Do yourself a favour…

We typically visit Metz on Mondays or Tuesdays to take advantage of their half-price pizza deal in the evening. The mushroom and spinach pizzas were particularly enjoyable. Additionally, there are several non-vegetarian options available. The pizza base tends to be crispy, with a moderate amount of cheese. We also sampled the jam amarettos and fried pizza dough with Nutella. The seating area is nicely appointed and well-heated, making it an ideal spot for chilly evenings in Hobart. Furthermore, the drink menu offers a wide range of options.

I have tried multiple places for breakfast, but this one was different from any other. One of the staff members recommended that I try the Potato Hash, and I was amazed by the taste. On top of that you will get plenty of sunshine too.

The Metz is a delightful gem that serves up fresh, delicious meals with a standout special smoothie that’s a must-try. The food is bursting with flavor, showcasing high-quality ingredients prepared with care. Beyond the tasty offerings, the beautiful decoration creates a warm atmosphere. It made a memorable dining experience for us!
