I like the facade of this place that is so photogenic, love to come here at early in the morning since they already open at 6:30. My usual order are small double shot latte since their coffee roast were pretty light, but i like it strong. Barista are friendly, vibes are great, love a small but lively store.
Turned up here on the recommendation from a barista from another cafe. Specifically for their humble, Champion Brewer, Kay. He made me some delicious pour over from Brazil. (limited edition by Padre coffee). Enjoyed watching the time and care he took at each stage of his workflow. Like a master chef smelling and tasting as he went through each step. The end result was a very well balanced filter coffee. Sweetness and acidity was really brought out as well as the individual tasting notes. Looking forward to my next coffee here for sure.
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service. Lovely coffee. Yummy brunch. The simple things done well are brilliant with food. The chef at 1995 is talented and passionate. I loved my breakfast and the coffee was also lovely. Iced long black can be bitter but not at The 1995. Well done. Simple, well made and yummy.
Outstanding coffee, pastry felt soggy. Friendly & helpful staff, nice atmosphere. Parking right outside
Great atmosphere with a very relaxing music selection. The decor has a nostalgic vibe that reminded me of my university days, which I really enjoyed. The pastries are good, but the coffee is even better. I had an almond croissant and a flat whiteโthe coffee was excellent, but the croissant was a bit dry for my liking. I had the pleasure of talking to the owner, Mr. Reed, about the coffee they use. He also mentioned that the pastries are sourced from a local business, which is great to see. The staff are very attentive and friendly, which added to the overall pleasant experience. Would definitely return!
