Amazing food and excellent service! Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely. Always a great experience at Thai Secret โ highly recommend!
I ordered pineapple prawn fried rice , it was very greasy but has potential with flavours. The garlic pepper beef was disappointing with no garlic flavour or pepper flavour just tasted like a generic Chinese dish . The bbq chicken is juicy and tender with some salad thrown in . Again generic . Kalian pork belly was the most disappointing. Doesnโt represent any pic on the site , pork dry and over cooked , drowning in sauce and the green verg swimming . Wouldnโt eat again as it was all just like a Chinese restaurant flavour and isnโt a clean enjoyable meal . Itโs a huge shame because the picture on site look incredible.
My experience was very good. I have luch today here we ordered Beef noodles was very good like we eatd in Thailand. Staff very friendly and good service. We will back again and highly recommend.
OMFG. The best Thai food we have had outside Thailand. AUTHENTIC! Seriously just saved thousands on not having to fly to Thailand to get good Thai food. Hands down the best Panang i have ever tasted and the secret spicy dish should be kept a secret or this place will be too busy! Well done to the chef!
It seems like a nice little family owned Thai restaurant. The things I liked: - Staff were friendly - It's easy to find and I had no trouble with parking - I got through to order on my first call attempt, and the call lasted less than a minute - I got what I ordered (mostly) - The food was hot and fresh - The spring rolls appear to be made in-house - The chicken dishes were generous with the chicken The reasons I only gave 3 stars: - The fried rice says it comes with broccoli, but we got no broccoli - Every single takeaway container had a lot of empty space. Every other Thai restaurant we've ordered from always fills the containers right up - Some of the food was very oily, to the extent that the oil flavour was quite dominant at times - The spring rolls had no crunch at all and were quite bland - The coconut flavour in the coconut rice was too subtle We might try it again to see if we just caught them on a bad day, but the fact they skimped on filling up the takeaway containers + the food was quite oily leaves me hesitant to spend another $70+ to feed the family.
