The food was really nice there. It’s totally worth a try. But while we settled in the seat, a staff called Ken, he’s sort of like reception staff. Poured us some water just 1/3 of the glass, he also put the water jug back to the table very heavy. Looks like this Ken has some very urgent matters to take care other than his customers. He’s very impatient i think. Don’t think a Orpheus VIP member would deserve this treatment. He poured the water for customers like a normal staff, but for us no. So definitely on the scale 1-10, i can only give him 1. But the food is still amazing there.

BEST Japanese in Townsville, hands down. If you enjoy the flavours of Wara Sushi, Motto-Motto or say Tori&Co, then going to TERASU is like going to the Gordon Ramsay version of those restaurants. It's pricey - yes. But you're paying for quality taste. Comparing the other three restaurants is like comparing Mum's & Grandma's cooking, both are irresistible... but Grandma's just has this secret ingredient that not even Mum can replicate. That's Terasu.

This evening we had the Chef Experience sitting at the front of the kitchen watching the dynamics of the kitchen and the professionalism of the Chef. The atmosphere was low lit and inviting. The food was so delicious and melt in yoir mout. We decided to enjoy a variety of flavours and of course an amazing sake. Absolutely will be back to enjoy anoyher experience.

Freshest sushi in Townsville. A little overpriced but unmatched quality kn townsville. Well staffed and good service. Great views from the restaurant, and also at the sushi bar too. Great to have an open sushi and hot food kitchen to see the chefs in action.

First time dining at Terasu, and we couldn't wait to try after hearing such good reviews. We booked a table for 2, online. Food tasted amazing and came out so quickly. Loved that we didn't have to wait forever for our meals to come out. We ordered the Bluefin tuna toro & caviar Nigiri, Soft shell crab, spicy mayo & caviar Hand roll - YUM!!, Prawn dumpling, water chestnuts & ginger soy dressing - This was the best dish of the night. The sauce was so yummy too. My partner said he could've ate 20 of the dumplings 😂 For our mains, we had the Wagyu beef short rib grass fed ‘Altair’ yuzu pepper & celeriac salad and the Black Opal Wagyu scotch fillet MBS 9 & wasabi butter ponzu. Both delicious dishes!!! And for dessert, we had the Japanese doughnut, miso caramel 18 & macadamia ice cream. We will definitely eat here again and recommend to family and friends.
