Amazing little restaurant .. share plates and even one was delicious!
Walked in and luckily we got a table. The staffs were friendly and took time to explain the foods and recommended good wine! The foods were incredible! the pate and jarmon were great. Loved that the portion was perfect for to-share as well. The sangria was lovely. Will definitely return.
Prompt and friendly service from the team. They kindly let us have a table for a little while, even though we didnโt have a booking. The dishes we ordered were all really good and the Congo Bongo cocktail was amazing. Excellent recommendation from our waiter.
Beef tartare- light creamy crispy- fresh flavour, bread is perfect combo to cancel out too much creaminess. Cheese is delightful (even to a cheese hater). Skewer of the day- chicken with Greek yogurt, light flavour but packed with juiciness at the same time. Lots of meat on each. Black olives scallop- canโt get enough, seasoned to perfection. Can leave a bit of chicken to dip in olive sauce of the scallop (mind blowing). Fish on the day- Salmon on rice, buttered rice is not oily at all (from a oil critic), salmonโs flavour is great, everything is brought out with the perfect amount of salt and pepper. Toasted cows milk cheese with honey and toast- honey stick out to be in an instant, again as a cheese hater, this dish is delightfully sweet and rich. Osmanthusโs sweetness is too strong by itself self but perfect when mixed with cheese. Mango and passionfruit ice block- cold and slightly sour, fun dessert. Tap beer is popular and has an amazing light lingering taste. Service is top notch, overall flavour and experience is amazing and flavour style is light. Three people meal portion and vibe of restaurant is great. Food comes quickly and music is great. Recommend all dishes above. If wanting another main dish, suggest either beef and pork meatballs or PX braised beef. Dessert recommendation would definitely be the chocolate terrine. There are so many other sections we did not get to try, if you really want to try a dish, go with your gut feeling! They donโt have a bad tasting dish! We came on a Monday so we hope that would help with the skewer and fish of the day selection. (Of course this is still up to your own standards) Favourite meal of the night is the scallop dish and honey cheese toast, suggest even though dishes are amazing, not to get too much (one per person should be good enough). Otherwise the flavours will taste too much and you wonโt get the perfect experience.
Just an absolutely amazing experience. The food was just absolutely superb. I've never had tapas this good. The wait staff made it so easy when it came to choosing food. The waiter was absolutely excellent. He just looked at us and knew exactly what we wanted. Not to have to make any decisions. Just bring the food out and allow us to go about our business. We planned on only being there for about an hour and a half. 3 hours later we were stuffed full and so satisfied. Highly recommend! The only sad part was that I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the food. Just go try it out
