The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. They always remembered what I ordered! I will always love and miss this restaurant.

Came here twice for take away during our short stay in Cairns as it was so good! A quick drive from the main part of town near the industrial area. Had the seafood bowl and it is so hard to find this good quality sashimi for the same price point in Sydney. The ladies serving were patient and lovely.

Don’t let the location fool you, the food here is authentic, quick, and bursting with flavour. The karaage chicken was the standout for me – hands down the best I’ve had in Cairns (and I eat a lot of Japanese!). Perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavour. The spicy chicken bowl was also a winner, just the right amount of heat without overpowering the other fresh, clean flavours. It left the palate refreshed and wanting more. At around $16 per bowl, it’s reasonably priced considering the portion sizes and quality. Overall, a quiet, no-fuss spot delivering exceptional Japanese food. I’ll definitely be back, it’s officially on my go-to list.

The food is good and the prices are reasonable -- no complaints there. However, reading the reviews didn't prepare me for the conditions / environment. It's primarily a takeaway place with a handful of tables outside on the patio + 1 inside. I went back to the reviews and found two that imply this but it wasn't obvious. The "problem" is I thought I was going to a Japanese restaurant where I could sit in comfort & order. You order at the counter, which I have no problem with as it's convenient, and hope you can find a table from the 4-5 that are available and sit to eat. If not I guess you take it to your car and eat there. The food was good -- no complaints. The environment or atmosphere -- not so much.
