Which an exciting assortment of pastries. Everything I ordered was delicious. The stand out was the shadowpan. This loaf of bread is a play on shokupan but it is more croissant like. This is one of the best loafs I have ever had in my entire life. Already planing my return to purchase another one.

My friend and I loved the pastries we ate at Shadow Baking. We got the Eggplant Parmy, Tomato and Mozarella Danish and the cherry Christmas special. Recommend all! We also got drinks (iced tea and iced chocolate) that were a bit too sweet for our personal preferences. Staff were very friendly. Weโ€™ll definitely be back to try the other pastries! :)

The nicest bakery Iโ€™ve been to in Sydney! Such an array of pastries with interesting and diverse flavour options. A great combination of sweet & savoury options too. Loved the aubergine parmigiana pastry and the tomato & cheese savoury ones. Coffees were top notch too ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ Canโ€™t wait to go back and try out whatever else is on rotation!

Come for the baked goods, stay for the baked goods. Firstly, the pastries are absolutely to die for - and if itโ€™s your first time going to Shadow Baking, bring some extra cash because everything looks so good. Our order amounted to just over $60 and every piece we chose was well worth the price. Unfortunately, the same couldnโ€™t be said for the cap I had. I asked for a double shot, and it came out tasting weak and watery - this wonโ€™t stop me from trying their coffee again, but I hope it was just a singular issue. The staff member was very affable, wrangling the front of house with ease, dealing with our coffee and hot chocolate order - and getting it out to us quick enough - whilst serving close to a dozen other customers who came directly after us. Definitely will be back, I just wish we could try everything!

After browsing a few delicious bakery spots in the Darlinghurst area, I couldnโ€™t scroll past shadow baking! My senses paid off and their range was incredible! I throughly enjoyed the pandan brioche and cinnamon scroll, both baked to an exceptionally high quality. Definitely recommended you pay them a visit if youโ€™re in the area.
