Management blatantly lie to customers. Awful customer service. While the food is great, the service is here needs an enormous amount of work. We came here and we ordered matcha tea. While ordering, my husband asked for he matcha was sweet. He was told no. He ordered the tea and it was honestly the best we have had here in Gold Coast so far. So a couple of days later, we wanted to return to get some more tea. He ordered. They came…both extremely sweet. We asked why there was a difference and we were told that maple had been added. We said, we never asked for sweetener and we were told that well everyone likes sweetener and we should have told her not to add any. We argued that we didn’t have any previously and never asked specifically for no sweetener. The lady told us that she is just staff, to buy more drinks instead of just remaking them. She told us that this is how matcha is made. This is inaccurate. We asked to speak with the manager and she refused and said there is no manager. But told us to order and pay for more drinks. Despite the food been great, I do not recommend this place as they do not have any customer service. Very poor customer service focused on money grabbing as opposed to doing the right thing. Edit: I tried asking for management contact details before leaving, the lady just said no. The cook came out and admitted that they are actually the management. So, we were lied to originally. They originally said they were only staff and couldn’t do anything. Another family were sitting there and also agreed that this was unacceptable behaviour from the cafe management. We walked out with no drinks and they refused to give us our money back.

Conveniently located at Mermaid Beach’s Gold Coast Highway with ample parking in next door’s shopping centre, the SeeYö Café is most likely “one of the” – or even “the” – best cafés on Queensland’s Gold Coast Highway. Even their sourdough bread is mouth-wateringly outstanding. We started with two coffees – the latte came in a full-sized mug – and a hot chocolate. The “Classic Benny” came with haloumi cheese and Hollandaise sauce which is a challenge to make for many. We also enjoyed the toasty with ham. Yet, the visual and culinary highlight was the strawberry feast waffle with whipped cream, fairy floss and strawberry ice-crème. Everything is freshly made with attention to detail by the welcoming staff. However, the place could do a bit of prompt tidying up after customers have departed to improve its ambience.

I 'd love to congratulate the team and the atmosphere of the place . I simply had one of the most good gluten free bread ever! I am into baking and I am pretty surprised how good it is. As a vegan , there are heaps of choices and also they make vegan gluten free cakes. Next time I am gonna grab the whole sourdough to bring with me at home. Thank you so much for the experience 💜

Great little Gluten Free cafe. So many great options and don't need to worry about gluten if that's a requirement. Chicken waffles were delicious.

Split an acai bowl and mushroom toastie with my mum and they were both really yummy! The parking situation and road works is a bit hard to navigate but overall it’s pretty quiet and peaceful and nice seating. Attached is also the menu which a couple of items are not available at the moment. Appreciate that there’s GF options!
