Can’t say anything about the food as the restaurant does not open for lunch anymore but the atmosphere is beautiful

Besides the bar staff having no idea what madori is and no alcohol knowledge and clearly in the wrong job I highly recommend this place. The man on reception was friendly & fantastic and swapped our upstairs room for ground level when he saw mum had a walker. The room is beautiful. The beds are AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE. Will definitely stay here again whenever we visit.

Food was average, staff did not give us much service, out of a lot of foods and drinks. Waited over an hour for our food and constantly had to wait at the bar to let them know they hadnt brought us drinks. Waitress didnt know what any of the dishes were when brought to the table. Calamari was chewy, lamb was nice. I wouldn't recommend this place due to the slack service.

Food needs to be better for the price. Pizza wasn't very good, sauce too sweet and tastes weird. Squash risotto thing was very strange, also too sweet. Calamari appetizer was too small for price and overcooked. Salad wasn't good either. Also, the pizza was served to our table in the take away box? Also get rid of the TVs and the weird blinky bar lights. This isn't a sports bar, it feels weird. It's a shame because the deck and gardens are amazing and with some better execution on food this could be a nice place to go out for dinner.

The staff are amazing and the Chorizo & prawn pasta was something out of a fairy tale! Locals get behind this new re-start, they showcase Townsville's great cuisine to a T 👌
