I’ve heard a lot of positive things about this place from my French friend for its baguette and other French items so decided to finally drop by. Came here yesterday but to my own disappointment because they ran out of all their savoury items by 2:20pm. Tried my luck today with their potato & capsicum soup de jour, but noticed they only serve it at 12…? (Don’t know why my fate ends up like this considering I came here at 11, a lot earlier than last time xD) They were unfortunately out of their egg on sourdough toast as well, and only had quiche slices + vegan salads left. I resorted to the vegan salad and found it quite mid. I got a large iced latte on the side (which definitely didn’t wasn’t large lol) and it was very strong coffee.

French style cafe set in a lovely courtyard behind the ANU Art School. While the baguettes looked fresh and crunchy we only tried the pastries: Pain aux chocolat and Pain aux raisins, they were just ok. Coffee was weak and too milky.

My favourite French bakery in Canberra. Tucked away in ANU, and rightfully by the School of Art. I believe and not a lot of people would know about this place but you best believe they serve amazing pastries, cakes and baguettes! I always come here for the baguettes that are served at 11:30 am. More particularly the Smoked Salmon and Brie baguette. The staff are always amazing and shout out to the French speaking staff who allow me to practice my French. Look out for their soup of the day and/or their daily specials. Oh and they do sell the French biscuits and sweets imported from France.

Look at the Pretty honeycomb structure?? Croissant is also super flaky. Nice ice latte. Other cakes on display look so good too. Will try next time. They have salad and sandwich as well

One of the best bakery/pastry shop in town! A true hidden gem for a croissant lover. Loved their pain au chocolate with a cuppa. Perfect way to start the morning. Even better, it is located close to my office. Definitely my go-to whenever I crave for gluten!
