Food was excellent. Potato cakes, tuna and burrata great. Prawn orecchiette and squid ink ravioli a standout - the mango desert was so creative and delicious. The location of the venue is a little tricky but itโs worth it - especially for lunch or a summer evening as beautiful views. Staff werenโt so good, they were lovely but felt like it was just too busy for them. it was lunch the week before Xmas so busy time. Would recommend.
We celebrated my husband birthday for lunch and it was really a fantastic experience. The food and service were outstanding. The restaurant has a beautiful vibe and located on the water. We are returning for Christmas lunch. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Kym
I had the great pleasure of working with Alahna Ashcroft and Executive Chef Michael Lewis for a recent corporate event. They both provide a high level of professional service, always prompt in their replies and very helpful - even when you have a lot of questions and requests. They ensured our client received a fantastic and very successful event. The food is of very high quality and extremely delicious. I sincerely hope I will get the pleasure of working with Team Sala again - thanks for everything.
Turned 50 with a lunch at Sala, where Chef Danny Russo curated a generous sharing menu that turned our table into a celebration of flavor and friendship. From the bright, seasonally driven starters to the elegant, communal final courses and a personal visit from Chef Russo, every element was crafted to feel intimate yet luxurious. The pacing allowed for easy conversation, and the pairings both wine and non-alcoholic options mexcelled in harmony with the dishes. If youโre planning a milestone meal with family and friends, Sala is a superb choice.
I absolutely loved my lunch at Sala Dining . It is a real hidden gem. The location is sensational with stunning views of the harbour and the Harbour Bridge. The relaxed atmosphere and fantastic service were great, but the real highlight was the food. Every dish was beautifully presented, and every mouthful was delicious.
