Food was delicious and I highly recommend. The owners of the place were super accommodating and friendly, definitely will be returning to try more food!
From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The food was absolutely deliciousโrich, comforting, and full of authentic South African flavourโbut what truly made the visit unforgettable was the chef. He was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, taking the time to connect with us and making us feel completely at home. Every detail reflected care and passion, and with each bite, it felt like we were transported back to South Africa. Dining at Saffron Safari wasnโt just about the food; it was about the feeling of familiarity, warmth, and belonging. A truly memorable and heartfelt experience that we will cherish and happily return to.
absolutely delicious food i first had food here at a food truck this is the first time ive been to the restaurant it did not disappoint, a beautiful family owned establishment i am going to recommend this place to all my family and friends and come back as often as i can, cannot recommend enough
Was my first bunny chow and it didnโt disappoint! Big great chunks of lamb and spiced potatoes mixed in a loaf of bread! Perfect as-well as everything else we ordered! We were able to sit at Big Easy next door with a pint and have it delivered by the chef! Cheers weโll be back ๐๐
Awesome, authentic south African cuisine in a non pretentious, friendly setting. Great location. Warm welcoming owners, but the quality of the food really does the talking! The bunny chow is absolutely delightful. Perfect level of spice. The tasting platter is of great size and very authentically cooked. And who can say no to a butter chicken, chips and cheese stuffed naan bread?!?!?amazing. Hopefully in the future a liquor licence is on the cards to elevate the whole experience. We will be back :)
