I’m Filipino, but I really love Indian food. While we were having dinner, my 11 year old daughter called and asked where I was. I told her I was eating Indian food, and she sounded sad and asked why I didn’t tell her. She then asked if I could bring her some takeaway, so I brought her home chicken masala and momo. She ended up loving it. She also love butter chicken and biryani.

Seemed like a popular spot as it was packed when we got there. Best to make a reservation I suggest. The jackfruit baos are a must try! Very unique and flavourful. Also had the Palak kofta, Kadhai paneer. Chilli cheese naan and coriander naan pair really well with all the curries too. The mango coconut lassi was the right amount of sweet and not over the top thick. One of the best Indian meals I’ve had in Australia easily. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Hobart

We went to Sacred Bites to celebrate my husband’s birthday after moving to Tassie, and we’re so glad we did! Since moving here, we felt like there weren’t many good dine-in options until a friend recommended this place to us. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the small, cozy atmosphere made the evening feel really special. But the highlight of the night was definitely the food! We ordered the Naan Basket and the Tofu & Eggplant Curry, and both dishes were unique, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. Such a memorable birthday dinner. So happy we found this spot we’ll definitely be back!

A really nice Indian restaurant a short drive from Hobart CBD. The food here is a combination of classic Indian dishes mixed with elements of other cuisines. Prompt and efficient service in a warm and cosy setting.

We couldn’t decide what we wanted to eat so we opted for a “feed me “ package. Every dish was delicious, my favourite was the Manuka honey and walnut naan
