This was so far the best Ramen I've had in Australia and the closest to the ones I've had in Japan. The broth doesn't taste as flavorful as what you'd get with ramens that are cooked for 24+h but it was close enough. They have a few options to customize your ramen.
We live in Emerald QLD and we purposely come to Brisbane to have Ramen Danbo! Presentation of both store and food is always amazing. Servers and chefs are always so kind and warm. The RAMEN ๐ฅน๐ literally mouth watering and brings so much joy to our hearts and bellies. Will love to keep coming here for years to come! We also had our engagement lunch here too, so makes this so much more special
Ramen Danbo in South Brisbane was my first visit and it definitely lived up to the hype. The noodles were really good, with that authentic Japanese-style texture and flavour that feels like a proper ramen shop. The lunch options were handy and everything tasted fresh and satisfying, perfect for a quick but tasty bite. The only annoying part was parking, since you have to use a nearby paid car park, which adds a bit to the overall cost of lunch. Even with that extra cost, it was still a solid first experience and worth checking out if youโre craving proper Japanese ramen in South Brisbane.
THE BEST RAMEN IN AUSTRALIA!! Probably one of the best ramenโs I have ever had. My wife and I come to this place at least twice a month, would definitely come more often if we could. Fair price, great ambiance and service, and food amazing. Itโs our comfort food!
Absolutely divine ramen. easily one of the best bowls Iโve had in Brisbane. The broth was rich, full of depth, and perfectly balanced with just the right level of saltiness. The noodles were cooked to that ideal firm texture (not too soft, not too chewy), and the pork was very tender. Every bite felt authentic and comforting. The gyoza were delicious as well, crisp on the outside and juicy inside. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall presentation was beautiful. If I had to note one downside, it would be that the shop was quite hot inside. a bit of air conditioning would make the dining experience much more comfortable. Also, the process of lining up to get a table, ordering via QR code, and then lining up again to pay felt a bit inefficient and not very reflective of the usual smooth Japanese dining flow. That said, the quality of the food more than made up for it. Iโll definitely be coming back. this place is a must-visit for any ramen lover!
