My dear wife and I discovered this hidden gem on New Years Eve in Adelaide, in our recent annual trip to Adelaide. We are from Melbourne. Pixie and the Hawk owners, Emma and Rhys Davis - we were warmly greeted by Rhys while his dear wife is busy cooking in the kitchen. The cafe has a cool vibe to it, especially the selection of songs being played in the background, that I even used my phone to identify the songs and added them to my playlist. Now to the reason why we were there - the food !!! We had: - Everyday I'm Trufflin' - Cluckin' In Memphis - I'm All Shuk Up - coffee by Five Senses The star of the 3 dishes has to be 'Everyday I'm Trufflin'. - the super crispy and irrressitable kale chips - the charred but yet soft potato rosti - savoury meets sweet with the onion jam - poach eggs cooked to perfection - mushrooms were so delicious - the crunchiness of saltbush dukkah with bits of nuts gave the dish the finishing touches in taste and texturely. Overall, all the dishes were great and I would dare say, Pixie & The Hawk would give some of the top Melbourne brunch spots a run for their money. Do not miss out this hidden gem if you are in Adelaide or going to Adelaide. I would definitely return for more in my next trip. Till then, wishing Emma & Rhys a successful home-run of their little cafe.

Lovely cafe with many brunch options. We had the mighty fattoush which was zesty. We also enjoyed the coffee. Cosy interior with lots of plants.

What a beautiful gem we found for our weekend brunch โ€” and itโ€™s super dog-friendly! We dined outside in the courtyard at the back, which was such a lovely space. The food was incredible โ€” we especially loved the special fried egg with garlic portobello and button mushrooms on toasted sourdough, topped with hot honey halloumi and smoked almonds ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹ Highly recommend bringing your beloved pooch along. Theyโ€™ll be showered with pats and may even score a treat from the friendly staff. Weโ€™ll definitely be back!

Amazing food and friendly vibe at this little gem. Such care taken to balance flavours and always something new to try. These pancakes with buttermilk chicken and red curry butter were to die for. The trick is getting them out of your mind afterwards!

Great, welcoming service. Food delicious. Enticing menu with many options. I had breakfast and it was fresh, tasty way above your typical coffee shop. Coffee was one of the best i have ever had. I drink Oat mocha and 1 out of 3 I can't finish it because it doesn't taste good. Pixie and the Hawk will be my number one now.
