The staff were so lovely and welcoming. We ordered the tasting menu and everything was delicious. I don't typically like seafood but I thoroughly enjoyed the prawns, scallops, and I even didn't mind the octopus. As someone with a peanut allergy, I rarely get to indulge in dessert - but I got to try baklava for the first time and it was heaven. The manager herself has a peanut allergy so I felt super safe and ultimately way too full. Great value for a four course meal!!

Our visit to Piato was truly memorable. From the moment we stepped inside, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were not only warm and friendly but also genuinely attentive. The food was equally impressive. The meat platter was cooked to perfection – tender, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The scallops were hands down the best we’ve ever had – perfectly seared and rich in flavour. Piato exceeded all our expectations. With top-notch food and standout service, it’s a place that we will absolutely return to. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Piato. From the moment we walked in, the waitstaff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding. Every element of the meat platter was cooked to perfection – tender, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The bruschetta was, in my wife’s words, the best she has ever had – fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavour. Our son thoroughly enjoyed his kids' fish and chips too, which is always a win. Overall, Piato exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and without a doubt, we will be back.

Excellent - food, drinks, service. Was definitely worthy of our last night in Cairns. The flavour combinations were brilliant, and the confit carrots were a standout. All the hot food was cooked to perfection. Not the best tiramisu for me because I found the shaved chocolate a bit underwhelming, but I'm willing to overlook that.
