Absolutely one of the best authentic Italian restaurants in Adelaide from the delicious food right down to the hospitality and old school customer service, Owners and Staff were just beautiful and treated each and every table like family leaving you wanting to return on a regular basis. Easy and plenty of parking on site behind restaurant and gorgeous decor highly recommend for any occasion.
When you feel like a plate of pasta, of course you go to Paladino Cucina. A must try for any pasta lover is the Tortellini Ragu with the rich traditional sauce and meat that melts in your mouth, a plate that will definitely hit the spot. Amazing service from a beautiful family.
Meatballs & pasta were very good. Chips not so good. They have a lot of meals you donโt see if Italian restaurants and may represent traditional recipes with Iโd like to go back to try. Was disappointed you canโt change pasta style with menu, chefโs flexibility wasnโt very customer focused.
We had a party at Paladinos cucina and was highly looking forward to it. As you enter the vibe was quite nice with the ambient lighting. Though, the service wasnโt the best as the lady was very rushing and kept trying to upsell us other foods when we clearly werenโt interested. While I did enjoy the entree of meatballs, which were delicious by the way, the carbonara was quite filling and tasted almost like scrambled eggs as it wasnโt cooked properly. The owner however, he was very nice. While the night couldโve been better, I think it was worth it.
We love our old Italian food and Paladinoโs Cucina does it well. In fact, everything on the menu looked so delicious we had a hard time ordering! And THEN.. we realised there was another whole side of the menu we hadnโt even read! We settled on the Caprese salad to start which was delicious and fresh and Nonna Cataโs Polpette which just melted in your mouth. They were divine and we had fun mopping up the sauce in some fresh bread. We were both craving pasta so we opted for the Spaghetti Aglio Olio and the Linguine Granchio which were both cooked perfectly. The staff were so friendly and great checking in for extra drinks or to refull waiter glasses. A big tick! The only odd moment of the night was when my partner really wanted to try the Trippa (tripe) and requested to order in an entrรฉe size because we clearly had ordered too much food. The waitress went to check if this could be accommodated and told us no it could not. We advised we were happy to pay for it (we just didnโt want to waste the food) but they were adamant it could only be served in a main size. Very odd!
