Updated review for new menu! One Eighty chef Akihiro has taken Japanese food to the next level on the Gold Coast. Itโ€™s a complete culinary festival of flavours. The Omakase is so well balanced you donโ€™t want for anything. Itโ€™s a new menu and I loved the last one and thought Iโ€™ll miss some plates but the new menu takes up from where the last one left off. My only disappointment is in myself for not discovering this gem earlier to have been able to experience this journey from the very first menu incarnation. Iโ€™ll be certain to never miss another. The GC has too few quality Japanese restaurants and 180 is the summit of Mt Fuji. Bonus is that thereโ€™s a fabulous Sake menu and if you are still hungry you can order additional yaki. Talking of Yakitori, chef has been building his sauce for over 2 years. Big shoutout to the wonderful floor staff who talk you through the menu flavour, traditions and origin. Simply Amazing! Chef Akihiro Is an absolute Maestro working away feeding his patrons with an unforgettable culinary journey through Japan. By far the best Japanese Omakase restaurant in Australia! We had the premium and very good value for the food which is nothing short of art! Very good sake list with an expansive selection of Junmai Dai Ginju. The floor crew are very helpful and a highlight was having our food meticulously presented and explained what it was and how it should be eaten. This was a show itself! Should you order a smaller menu you can top it up with extra skewers and other culinary delights. If you miss Ten at broadbeach this is where to go!

Very lovely birthday dinner at One Eighty Restaurant. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Momo ( if I didnโ€™t spell wrong) provided outstanding service and kindly saw us off as we were leaving, which made the experience even more memorable. Will definitely return.

This place is absolutely incredible! The quality is on par with, or perhaps even better than, a 2-star Michelin yakitori restaurant in Akasaka, Tokyo. โ€‹The quality of the chicken, the precision of the grilling, and the service are all just as good asโ€”if not better thanโ€”what youโ€™d find in Japan. โ€‹They also have a fantastic sake and drinks selection. I couldn't be more satisfied. If you want the best yakitori in Australia, this is the place to be!

โ€œI felt like I was back in Japan! This is an authentic yakitori restaurant with all staff โ€” including the chefs โ€” from Japan. The atmosphere is warm and genuine, the service is excellent, and the food is absolutely incredible. One of the most authentic Japanese dining experiences on the Gold Coast.โ€

Amazing atmosphere that brought us back to being in Japan. Will be recommending to everyone and we canโ€™t wait to come back. Thank you team!
