I’ve been coming here regularly since I moved to the Gold Coast. The baristas are wonderful, make great coffee, and provide good conversation. I’m leaving a 1-star review because of the owner/manager. It is unacceptable how she treats her staff. Many of them don’t speak English as a first language, and it’s clear this is used against them. I’ve seen her eat at the counter while barking demands, yell at staff over harmless mistakes in front of customers, and snap at staff for “taking too long” with customers - a crucial part of good service - while they are punished for it. I can’t help but think how much better this cafe would be with the same baristas but different management. I hope the owner sees this and reflects. This is not how we treat people in Australia. Do better. Next time i will confront you and then report you.

Kind of a hidden spot in the GC. It’s not in the main area but very close to SkyPoint. The coffee is nice, the food is good, and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable for the GC. It’s a small café but always busy with customers. I was planning to visit more before leaving the GC - shame I found this place so late. Update after a return visit. Unfortunately, this time was really disappointing. The owner or manager was clearly not good at customer service. When a staff member made a mistake, it should have simply been fixed, but instead the interaction felt rude toward the customer. I don’t usually get upset, and I didn’t even complain about being overcharged. The food also wasn’t as good as before - it was just okay.

Lovely staff and fantastic food. The menu is slightly small, but the prices were really good. Service was quick, the coffee was very good, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

The toastie was very large and made with fresh ingredients. Overall quite standard. The staff were friendly and the location is convenient.

Tried Olive Coffee this morning and loved it! I ordered the sourdough focaccia BLT — super delish, thin but just enough, and the flavours were perfectly balanced. My long black was smooth too, none of that overpowering bitterness or sourness. Such a good combo!
