This is a really great option in Burleigh Heads, highly recommend. Lots of great dishes, we enjoyed the Gyoza, sushi, karage chicken and chicken katsu curry. All very tasty! Good portion sizes too. And great wine list.

Simply the best Japanese I’ve ever consumed (and there has been much consumed). Great atmosphere, style, vibe, service, people, friendliness and food that transported me to my many months spent living in Japan. Wagyu and pork katsu “Sando’s” that were divine and a karaage mushroom tamaki that presented some of the most beautifully blended flavours i can remember tasting. Highly recommend this gem of an izakaya.

Picture this: You serendipitously discover the secret portal on the streets of Burleigh that takes you straight to a local Osaka style Izakaya. Hit after hit after hit. No skips. Each dish was intentional in its presentation. Even simple dishes like the tempura prawn and miso soup had attention to detail that distinguished itself from the standard you may expect to come across at any other joint. Quality ingredients, cracking decor, attentive service. Need I say more?

Happily stumbled upon this little dynamo! My family and I went looking for Mexican and landed on Japanese tacos instead. Welcoming staff that served up the most sumptuous meal that left us ruminating over the culinary experience the following day. Thank you for making our trip memorable! Highly recommend!
