we were excited for the food but pasta was way too overcooked and soggy, the lamb was too gamey and salty. service was excellent but considering the price of the food it wasnโt worth it. $12 for lettuce and dressing was a total abomination please spend your money elsewhere!!
Stopped into Ogee for a solo lunch and a glass of wine, and it turned out to be one of those unexpectedly great afternoons. I ended up running into some friends who happened to be walking past, so we grabbed a table together. The wines were beautiful, and the lunch menu was just as impressive, every dish fresh, full of flavour, and plated with care. Such a relaxed, welcoming spot for a midday treat. The service was impeccable, Rochelle and Luca were awesome to deal with and extremely knowledgeable. Highly highly recommend
Honestly considering the vibe, Servicesโs, food and cost, one of the best meals Iโve had in Australia over the last couple of years. Could fault any part of our time there, the venue was brilliant, food and booze was fantastic and the service was warm and welcoming. The 4.8 this place has is deserved and probably on the low side.
Loved it so much i had to visit again. First went here June 2024. I really enjoyed the setting of it being a small wine bar with great food. In Sydney, youโd always get good wine bars but theyโd only serve small plates. Ogee had a perfect balance between being a great wine bar + amazing food. Went back again in September 2025 and it just keeps on getting better. The updated set menu is to die for. The FOH was unreal and had the best service. The bartender was really nice as well and gave me so many recommendations about Hobart (places to go, eat, and run). The food was beyond perfection and has a perfect balance. The open kitchen adds excitement and vibe as well. Highly recommend and would be coming back for a 3rd and more once Iโm in Hobart
Loved the set menu at Ogee, every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour! The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, making it such a nice place for drinks and a special night out, especially for couples. The service was friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Will definitely be back when I visit Hobart again!
