We had such a lovely lunch at Norte today and honestly, everything was exceptional from start to finish. The menu was incredible. From the starters to the mains and dessert, every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared, with so much heart. It’s one of those places where you enjoy every single course. The cocktails were fantastic, and the champagne on the house was such a lovely surprise and a really thoughtful touch. And, lovely Charlie who looked after us was just wonderful. She was warm, friendly and easy to chat with, and made us feel right at home. Rudy, the head chef, was so welcoming, and it’s clear he has built a great team around him. You can feel the care and passion from everyone. Thank you to Melvin for organising such a lovely lunch and for making it such a special afternoon for us. Truly a wonderful experience. We’ll be back for sure.

The food was exceptional — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with care and attention to detail. The service truly elevated the experience. Every staff member was friendly and professional, and the hostesses were incredibly kind and helpful. A special mention to Charlie, who was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel genuinely looked after. Her warmth and professionalism set the tone for a fantastic visit. Norté is an absolute standout. From the moment you walk in, you feel the energy of the space. Warm, inviting, and centred around the open fire that truly brings the whole experience to life. The food is bold, beautifully balanced, and clearly crafted with passion. Every dish celebrates Latin American flavours in a way that feels thoughtful, generous, and perfect for sharing. You can really taste the care that goes into each plate. A special mention to the incredible team. We dined with friends who own a restaurant, and the staff went above and beyond, even taking the time to walk them through the kitchen and the fire-based cooking process. That level of openness, pride, and hospitality says everything about the culture here. The drinks were just as impressive. The agave focused cocktails and curated wine list complemented the food perfectly and added to the overall experience. Amazing food, exceptional staff, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special.

We had a wonderful evening on Monday, the service was incredible. Lucas was the ultimate host. We had the banquet and we were blown away by the flavours and the uniqueness of the dishes. We could not pick a favourite as they were all so individually unique and flavourful. It was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was dark & moody, loved it. Highly recommend and will be coming back asap.

We had the $90 banquet and added the scallops and kingfish sashimi. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The flavours were fresh, balanced, and full of creativity. The service was incredible!! So attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed, adding to what was already a fantastic dining experience. The only small downside was that it was a little noisy inside for a romantic dinner (however if I had booked with more notice we could have been seated in a different area) but the vibrant atmosphere suited the venue’s coastal vibe. Both the bar upstairs and the restaurant are stylish and so welcoming! The quality and taste is definitely on par with Rick Shores and you can see and taste how they are co owned. Overall, an amazing experience — highly recommend!
