Had better hopes that the food was great given the prior reviews but I had a different experience and I don’t think it was a specific incident. The ramen was okay but they have odd toppings like lettuce in it. The noodles were actually cooked great and the broth was nice. I also tried the KFC - cooked perfectly but you get 3 pieces for $12 which is a little expensive. Service was fine and what you’d expect for ramen. Overall it was fine but definitely not a high 4 star meal- there is a good amount of Asian owned in the area that are likely more authentic.

My absolute favorite ramen place. This is the only shop with real, deeply flavorful broth. The veggies are perfectly tossed in a wok, and the food is always piping hot. I've been coming here for a year, and the incredible flavor and consistency never change. Great service from a nice staff. Highly recommend!

Nichi Getsu Do hits it on all cilinders. Quite an accomplishment for a place that recently opened. My wife and I live above the restaurant. Yet finally had lunch there. Finally because the restaurant is always busy and at times have a line outside waiting to get seated. Many a Japanese are customers and that's a good indication whether the food hits the spot. So this saturday 20-12/2025 we took the elevator down and got seated quickly. We ordered Miso Tantan Ramen & Spicy Miso Ramen. Both bowls were absolutely fantastic & plentiful! Best broth, perfectly cooked noodles with high quality ingredients. Very well presented too. Service from ordering to serving is very friendly/personable and food comes out quickly. The interior is very well designed, laid out, and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful experience and fully understand why people are lined up daily for this gem! We'll be out of Sydney early January and hope to make it back one more time! Highly recommended!

Wow! It was an awesome experience. I was recommended by my friend as this place might be the best ramen shop in Sydney. The ramen and gyoza were fresh and hot, didn’t take so long to arrive. The ramen noodle was thick and chewy kinda hard but not undercooked, it was actually perfectly done. Same for those crunchy veggies on top. Broth of miso ramen was thick and not too watery/oily, had a bit of sweetness and great umami to it. It came with a spoon with holes, super handy to eat corn and mince in the ramen. A guy sitting next to me was wearing a white shirt, then a staff reached out to him and gave him a disposable apron. I thought that was a great service. In my opinion Ramen should be a quick, affordable and delicious meal, as a Japanese fast food. This shop was exactly serving that! Also I loved how clean the shop was, there were many female customers eating by themselves.

There are only good things to say about this place and there's a lot of things to say. First and foremost, the miso ramen here is always delicious and affordable. Each time I've come here, the quality, portion size and taste is amazingly consistent. The portion size by itself is quite generous and you can even add extra noodles for just $1 and the noodles are cooked perfectly. The broth is rich, flavourful with deep flavours. As someone who loves sharing hidden gems such as this, I've brought friends and family here and all of them had nothing but good things to say. The ambience and atmosphere here is spot on as well, feels authentic and very welcoming. Lastly, the service is always top notch as well. Very welcome, friendly smiles and not over the top or burdensome in any way. As someone who rarely dines out alone at an established restaurant, I would happily come here by myself just to enjoy the vibes while downing a heartwarming bowl of miso ramen. Looking forward to coming back here again and again, hope you guys can stay open for a long time!
