I really enjoy this place, the staff, the atmosphere, and the food. I love the banquet for two people; we don't usually venture much from pub food, but this is my third visit to Mr. Wabi while visiting Brisbane over the past 2.5 years. It was perfect for a girlfriend outing, a family gathering, and last night was date night; the cocktails make memories. Our waitress Guno (not sure if that's correct) made it perfect. I recommend visiting for something different; you will love it.

Visited mr wabi over this weekend and overall was a great experience the staff are lovely and are very attentive. The food is a little on the pricy side for the portion size. The bao buns were nice the duck was a little fatty but the fried chicken bao was very nice. The pork dumplings were a little underwhelming not a lot of flavour and the sauce that went with them wasnโ€™t very nice and the last thing we got was the main dish of the Korean fried chicken half and half was very good and was thoroughly enjoyed. Over all a nice experience. PS- Itโ€™s also very hard for reception at the restaurant but doesnโ€™t affect the experience of the restaurant. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I must say the food at Mr Wabi was fantastic. I tried the Malaysian Fried Kuey Teow which was really good. But what stood out was the service, our server Sonia was beyond fantastic, she understood the menu and was really hospitable throughout. Really a nice hang out spot and we would definitely be back if we are in Brisbane.

Mr. Wabi is an interesting spot with good Asian fusion. The baos are great, and I would highly recommend them. I got the fried chicken and the duck bao buns. The burger was good, but didnโ€™t stand out too much. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. Service was good and the atmosphere was fine as well. It reminded me of Japan, because to access it you have to walk down an alley with no sidewalk. Overall, Iโ€™d say to check this place out if youโ€™re in the area.

Amazing food, warm service, and a cosy atmosphere. The lobster trial was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, while the deep-fried ice cream was a heavenly mix of crisp, creamy, and sweet with a fun fairy floss topping. Huge thanks to the chef for the incredible creations โ€” a must-visit Iโ€™ll happily recommend!
