We held our wedding reception at Moda last week in the Wine Room and Terrace, and had a great experience from start to finish. Juliette was fantastic to work with when planning the night. She made the whole experience so positive, and much less stressful. Juliette’s organisation throughout it all, coupled with her happiness to answer questions we had, provide recommendations, or work through any changes was really appreciated. All of our guests loved the food and felt very well catered for. So many have commented that it was delicious, was the right amount and variety, and well timed throughout the evening. The service from the team was great too, everyone felt really looked after. The venue itself and extras available (playing our own music, ability to have a slideshow, mic etc.) made our reception feel intimate and lovely, exactly how we hoped it would be. We would recommend Moda to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding or event. Thank you again for helping us have such a beautiful night!

Front of house was friendly and welcoming, waitstaff was fantastic (young gentleman with curly hair) and the steak? Absolutely outstanding! It was a wonderful dining experience. I cannot stop thinking about the beautiful steak that was perfectly cooked, paired with a lovely glass of Tempranillo. Unbelievable value for the quality and portion (we shared the 1kg T-bone). This can be an isolated experience. I had the paellita and the Wagyu cube roll steak for lunch. The paellita was delicious and every part of the steak dish (sauce, vege and presentation) was great aside from the steak. There was a strange taste in parts of the steak which I have raised while paying the bill. Hopefully it is a one off as Moda is one of my favorite restaurants in Brisbane.

We celebrated our Christmas party at Moda, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, the service was absolutely outstanding, easily one of the best we’ve experienced. A special mention goes to Javier’s son, who took care of the service throughout the night. His attention, warmth, and professionalism made us feel completely at home, with every detail perfectly looked after. And the food… simply amazing! Everything was incredible, the pâté, the prawns, and the steak cooked to absolute perfection, full of flavour and quality. To top it all off, Chef Javier personally came over to ask how everything was, which truly shows the passion and care behind this place. Without a doubt, Moda is one of the best restaurants we’ve visited. It’s one of those places that truly stands out in every possible way. ✨ Highly recommended ✨

There was a Year End event for some company when we went, so the place was buzzing and extremely busy. That didn’t seem to fluster the staff at all. They maintained the caring and attentive service level the whole 2.5 hours we were there. Open kitchen adds that different feel in a nice way and all the chef looked focus and was having fun. We went for the $109 banquet as we wanted to try as many dish possible in the menu. I must admit, they were all very good. I was the only person on table with dietary requirement (Halal) and they made sure it was catered. Steak was perfect. Since this is a review, I also have to give the negligible criticism: - I was expecting steak to be bigger, since it was the main course. It was probably less than 80g but perfectly cooked - quail was hit over cooked, was dry. - Staff were all very nice and accommodating but they didn’t know the menu and what went inside the food. Every time they had to go back and check with chef. It will add a nice touch if staff are aware of the details
