We tried following and would recommend the following which were flavourful 👌- in gravy - dal makhani, latpata murgh lazzatar, fried egg masala, tawa chicken Starter- fish pakode, angara murga kebab (very spicy) Veg options are a bit blant and need more good starter options.

One of the most authentic places for Indian food in Sydney. The decor and seating is well thought of ensuring even during busy times it doesn’t feel crowded. There are many food options to choose from in veg and non veg. Drinks and food are reasonable priced. Food served is freshly made and delicious. Best is the service where everyone is eager to ensure you get a memorable experience. Finding a parking spot may be tough.

This was our first visit to Mitran da dhaba at Harris Park. We went for lunch on a weekend. We shared two items - a thali and chhole bhature. The wait time after placing the order was reasonable. The items well presented and flavourful. The service was courteous and friendly. In the thali, you don’t get the choice of items - it depends on the menu of the day. Many of the other tables were getting full with families which spoke about the popularity of the restaurant. I will be happy to dine here again.

First time visiting Harris Park, it was surprisingly lovely experience with lots authentic Indian food. This is my first time eating at Mitran with friends. Food was amazing and tasted authentic Indian with friendly service! Goat and chicken tikka were so good! This is probably the best Indian food I had in Australia!!!must try when you are in Harris Park!

I was absolutely impressed by the food quality and taste. From the moment the dishes arrived, the aroma hinted at authentic Punjabi flavours, and each bite delivered on that promise. The curries were rich and perfectly spiced, the tandoori items were smoky and tender, and the rotis were fresh and soft. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out, making every bite feel homely yet special. The attention to flavour balance was evident throughout the meal – nothing felt overly oily or heavy, just wholesome and satisfying. If you’re looking for authentic North Indian comfort food with a true taste of Punjab, Mitran Da Dhaba is an excellent choice. Also, had a good chat with the restaurant owner and was greeted with some lovely gulab jamuns to top the experience with love. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
