Just had a Manning's steak pie and it had hair all through it pretty disgusting when your only just trying to enjoy a pie

The service was very quick here so you gotta be quick to know what you want. Inside is very small and has room for maybe 3-4 people max before you see lines outside of the shop. Not sure why they dont show prices for all pies. I enjoyed my pepper steak pie. I really liked how they add whole green peppers that explode in the mouth. Taste wise I cant fault it. My gripe is that the pie is smaller than average and was finished in time. Pastry on the pie was average as well. We also tried the sausage roll, it too was small in size and had chunks of potatoes? Shouldn't really have chunks of anything in a sausage roll. Lastly, the lamination was dry inside, again very average.

Delicious hand made pies, with quite a selection to choose from. A little dear for the size, but taste great.

They are baking up great pies here. We knew it was a good place when we saw the line outside. We ordered one classic steak (mince) and one steak and bacon. The meat filling was hot and full of flavor. The inside of the shop is no frills business only. We sat at the outside tables provided and loved every bite. Next time we will go earlier for a larger selection. They were sold out of the apple pies when we arrived.

Always good.. The only disappointment is when they run out of what you want..
