We have an extremely high expectation to experience this highly rated establishment, everything has been perfect from drinks to entrees. Until the M9 rated beef arrived was a bit not hot enough, a $100 steak should have been warmer than it should although it was rare enough to be presented?
What a surprise! Authentic French pastries with very reasonable prices in CBD. There is no doubt the chef studied in France as it really tastes the same! Classic croissant: rich buttery flavor, heavy texture and incredibly doughy. A masterpiece! Cappuccino croissant: add a generous, not too sweet custard with subtle notes of coffee and you have a croissant on st&r0ids! The subtle cinnamon in the Kouign Amann was very interesting too. If you want a real, authentic sample of French culture this is it, donโt look anywhere else!
This restaurant opens all day and has a breakfast, lunch and dinner options which caters for a variety of time periods, enabling a variety of different food depending on the time. We ordered The Bouillon (Poached eggs in chicken broth with soudough) and The Central Market (Eggs Benedict with crossaint). A small meal was warranted and these small meals offer sufficient serving sizes without making us feel too full and heavy and able to eat lunch at another restaurant a few hours later. This is worth a try. Regards @fooderarri
The Escargot were so flavourful and the Beef Bourguignon melted in my mouth, finished with the Roquefort cheese accompanied by fruit. Great value for money for the 3 course special $57 my son had steak tartare, salmon and pear poached in red wine and wrapped in pastry which he loved
Pleasantly surprised by this award winning French patisserie and restaurant that was at the hotel I was staying in. Excellent selection of pastries at very reasonable prices. I asked for my pain suisse chocolate to be warmed. Crispy flakey skin that is fluffy within, with hazelnut chocolate filling. Had several other pastries for takeaways on other days- croissant was excellent
