This has to be the best yum cha weโve had. Flavours, presentation and the entire experience was excellent. We had the 8 chefs selection dumplings, typhoon shelter jumbo tiger prawn (comes with 3 prawns), special fried rice, lettuce wraps with chicken, lychee and osmanthus jelly and fried icecream. Will visit again when weโre in Brisbane. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
At the invitation of friends, my wife and I were invited to a Yum Cha Lunch at Longtime Dining on Christmas Eve. What an outstanding experience! The food was sublime! Beautifully prepared, presented and tasting delicious. Service was exceptional with Samatha and Michelle regularly checking to ensure we had everything we desired including โbottomlessโ glasses of water and cups of tea. The natural light filled space from the main dining area to the balcony created a very much outdoor atmosphere while still maintaining adequate privacy from other patrons. Compliments to the conscientious Chef who operated from an open Kitchen adjacent to our table. Not to be missed by food lovers visiting this beautiful city!
Great Food, Even Better Service (Shoutout to Joe!) Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was great, flavorful, and came out quickly, but the real highlight was our server Joe. He greeted us with a friendly smile, seated us right away, and made sure our drinks were never empty. He was polite, efficient, and had a great attitude the whole time. This place has earned a regular spot on my go-to list, and I hope the restaurant recognizes how amazing Joe is at his job!
Came here for a quick lunch on Saturday 22/11. Place was busy, but a table was available straight away. We decided to just have the 8 piece dumplings , consisting out of 4 times 2 different dumplings. These where superb and definitely on another level than the Yum Cha we usually have . Price was $47. which is expensive, but worth it . We also had a small pot of tea and a bottle of water, for which we were charged $20. Something to be aware of and next time we certainly won't bother with that again. Service was excellent, staff member was Stacey and she made sure to give her a mention by showing us a card , so we wouldn't forget. I give 5 stars for the service and food. Far less for being charged 20 bucks for a pot of tea. This place also has a 2% service charge for payment by Cards. Overall we loved the food, but the other costs left us less than satisfied. Would've rated 5 overall, but deducted 1 star for the $20 pot of tea and 1 star for the 2% card surcharge.
