Had the best experience this evening at La Playa. Food was amazing along with a mojito. King prawns were so flavoursome couple with a Greek side salad. Service was perfect, lovely wait staff complimenting the meal.

Worst dining experience, the restaurant is well placed & the view is lovely but that’s where it ends. Service is non-existent & even in an almost empty restaurant you’re waiting 45+ min for food. The tostada Francesca was so dry. I stated I was allergic to onion & my vege bowl came out with onion throughout (not listed on the menu) so they took it back to “remake”. The quinoa was simply removed but there was still onion throughout the hummus & all over the tomato’s & on the leaves so I had to remove off my plate & hope I got it all so I didn’t get sick from it. So many better places for food in surfers with better service for that premium pricing - would not recommend 🙅🏻‍♀️ Go around the corner where McDonald’s is to Alma if you want beachfront & beautiful food with friendly service. Janus is also around the corner where staff are more than helpful & food & coffee is incredible. Avoid here if you have allergies or want good food. They won’t take orders at the front register & instead point to a QR code at the table. Staff are disinterested & it doesn’t have a nice vibe when you’re there so we just hurried to leave. Only tourists would frequent because they don’t know but can see why locals dislike it. If you want a Gold Coast experience this isn’t the spot.

My goodness, what a view, what a place and amazing food! We ordered the mussels of which tasted absolutely amazing with the arancini balls which were heavenly. I ordered the rib eye and it was cooked a little more than requested but the taste made up for it. Especially as this place is right in the heart of Surfer's Paradise, this was amazing.

We stumbled across this place by accident and wow, best coffee I’ve ever had! Huge shoutout to the amazing crew. The staff are so friendly and the service is exceptional. Highly recommend the Mediterranean Wagyu Mince in their breakfast menu. The atmosphere feels luxurious without breaking the bank. Will definitely be back again soon 💖

I had an amazing breakfast here this morning! The staff were so friendly and made me feel truly welcome. The food was delicious - everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. I especially loved the ocean view it made the whole meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for starting the day. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in the area!
