I visited this bakery on a sunny afternoon with my family. We had heard of how many good reviews of this place so we just had to visit. The food was amazing! I had a dessert called a snail and a sausage roll. The snail is like a vegemite scroll, but with sultanas and a little bit of custard. It wasn't too rich with fillings though. The pastry was nice and soft and it felt fresh. The pastry was sweet, but not too sweet. They didn't supply me with tomato sauce on the sausage roll though, but it felt like it was at it's best without sauce. The meat was nice and soft. It was filled to the brim with flavour and was probably the best one I have ever tasted. It was pretty busy and we were stuffed in a tight corner, but overall it was one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. Review written by Joseph, 9 years old.

It's a nice little restaurant but that's about it. We had a galette and the croque madame. You could taste the flour from the crepe which was not nice at all, and the croque madame had so much cheese(and not a very good one) that it made the sandwich very oily and disgusting, it was not properly toasted and very soggy, it was supposed to have ham inside but i barely you see or taste it. The drinks were mediocre. I definitely recommend not going there, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Great French Cafe with amazing coffee and food. Galettes were delicious. Service was fast and prompt. Atmosphere was excellent, that was a Sunday morning so it was quiet and tranquil.

La Galette cafe again was a delightful experience from start to finish. The cozy ambiance, complete with charming decor and soft French music, transported me to the streets of Paris. The menu offered a variety of classic French dishes, all expertly prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the baguette sandwich, which was crispy and freshly baked, and the espresso was rich and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest. Overall, the La Galette cafe provided a wonderful taste of France right in the heart of Perth, and I can't wait to return for another culinary journey."

Weekend early lunch. Ordered the 'farmhouse' and 'ratatouille' galettes, plus a coffee. Galettes were delicious; thin and crispy base with generous portions of filling. Coffee was smooth and strong. Friendly service. Limited indoor and outdoor seating available. Casual ambience. Reasonable prices.
