This was a very worthy visit - great coffee, and a broad range of authentic Asian food to enjoy… The staff were just wonderful, it felt like ‘home’ with a great selection of seating options, both inside at the coffee machine, outside and inside with a larger area toward the back of the shop, with a toilet available. Coffee art is very worthy mention, the staff appear to be well trained, and the articles hanging on the wall attest to this. I had the Prawn Laska - good size prawns, with an authentic taste… Appears to be very popular stop for many locals - and very worthy stop at that.

Had breakfast here, pick the taro latte and kopi peng. not quite satisfies with the taro latte (taste more milk with bit of smell of taro) but kopi peng was nice. The porridge also nice. extra charge $1 for the chili if you want. Condiments not available in every table so you need to ask if you want. Hospitality was nice and warm , plenty of seat but this place was packed, quite noisy but still can talk✨

I was keen to try the Hainanese chicken and eventually did (I'm told they frequently sell out and was advised to get in before midday). First time I went, I had a Laksa and then the chicken. Both were fantastic. Very authentic flavours. Coffee is great too. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Relaxed atmosphere makes it perfect to escape the heat and relax with some awesome food. I'll likely visit this place often while I'm in town 😊☕🍗🍚

Top Darwin experience! Incredible Singaporean cafe with great coffee and food. Laksa exceptional. Hainan chicken also. With extra chicken on the side! Plus banana bread and strong Singaporean coffee. Best Singaporean place we’ve eaten outside Singapore. Super friendly and helpful too. Very popular. Don’t miss out!

I was visiting family in Darwin a few weeks ago and they suggested we check out Kopi Stop:) So glad we did! The cafe has a all day Singaporean-style menu with laksa, Hainanese chicken, silky congee and more. My seafood laksa was rich in flavour and super moreish. They also do some of the best coffee art I’ve seen! Check out their Instagram if you haven’t already. Casual vibes, great service, and clearly a local favourite. Darwin has some of the best food (and laksa!) in Australia, and it’s no surprise Kopi Stop won the People’s Choice in 2023. Definitely worth adding to your list when you’re in town.
