Ordered its The Combo (Piset) for my lunch at the total cost of $22.32. It was quite busy but I managed to get my food just in time. The chicken rice was definitely delicious. Rice was soft and fluffy. Chicken was well cooked. Very soft and tender. The crispiness for the fried chicken was also there. The chilli sauce was my favourite. Not spicy, but more to soury and sweet. The peanut sauce was soury and spicy. The soup was also good. Didnt have strong flavour of chicken and just nice. The portion was okay, not big but filling enough for one person. Really enjoy the vibe as well. Overall, really recommended and would definitely come again. 9.6/10!
Ordered thru Door Dash and might be mainstream but lowkey the best Thai I green curry Iโve had in a longgg time. We love corrugated vegetables !! And so many spices. Only downfall was not being able to order spicier thru the app, but called the restaurant direct and they were super helpful โบ๏ธ will definitely be ordering from here again! Also very goodโ value
This is supposedly the best Thai Chicken Rice in Melbourne. The staff were very accommodating and attentive to our dining group, especially we were dined in with 1 infant. We tried the Massaman curry and chicken rice. The chicken was tender, and the rice was fragrant, likely cooked with broth, unlike the Singaporean chicken oil rice. However, the curry was too sweet and underwhelming.
The chicken rice here is amazing ! The fried chicken is super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside โ full of flavor and not oily at all. You can really taste the seasoning in every bite. The rice is fragrant and fluffy, and the chili sauce gives it the perfect kick. Altogether, itโs such a satisfying and tasty meal. Highly recommend if you love good, crunchy fried chicken with your chicken rice ! The crab rangoon is so unique. The wanton is filled with soft fluffy crab meat mixed with cream cheese. Melts in the mouth.
Seen this spot all over social media so expectations were high, but honestly the food fell pretty flat for me. Tried both the Hainanese-style poached chicken and the fried chicken. The poached chicken texture was very mid โ a bit dry compared to other Asian versions Iโve had. The dipping sauces leaned more on the sweet side, with one basically like sweet chilli. They were okay, but not standout. The broth was probably the highlight โ warm and comforting, but nothing remarkable. The fried chicken was fine, cooked properly, but again very standard and not something Iโd come back for. Portion sizes felt small too โ I paid around $22 for the chicken and rice set, then another $6 for extra chicken breast, but the amount wasnโt worth the price. Service was also a little sloppy. I had no cutlery, and when I asked for some they placed it on the table next to me instead, leaving them with an extra set while I still had none โ had to raise my hand again to get it. Overall, just okay. Not terrible, but for the hype, price, and quality, I probably wouldnโt return.
