I have been wanting to try these macarons for a while as I drive past every week and I love macarons. However, I was really disappointed as all the flavors tasted the same. The passion fruit had not a single bit of passion fruit flavor in it and same for the coconut and all the others I got. The shop itself is gorgeous and the Macarons are displayed so well and all look so inviting, pretty and delicious but after eating them, the individual flavors were just not there which was disappointing.

I recently ordered a macaron tower for my wedding reception from Ellen and the team at Jollie Macarons. The tower was wonderfully presented and the macarons were delicious. I chose 4 flavours, all of which were excellent though I think mango and raspberry were my favourites! The tower was ready for us to collect the day before (delivery was also an option) and Ellen was so welcoming and just lovely to deal with. Thoroughly recommend for any occasion or even just a little sweet treat. Thank you!

Still on my macaron test drive around Perth. Jollie Macarons in West Leederville is a ripper little spot with super cute Parisian vibes. You can see their kitchen through the glass – it’s spotless, and watching the baking process adds a special charm to the visit. Their macarons are really tasty, with crispy shells and soft centres, though they’re a bit sweeter than I personally prefer – probably adjusted for the Aussie sweet tooth. Macarons are such a tricky dessert to perfect, and here you can tell they take their craft seriously. Out of the ten amazing macarons I tried, there was just one strawberry one with a top shell that felt slightly overbaked or not as fresh. But honestly, that’s such a minor thing – it didn’t spoil my overall great impression. What really stood out was the genuinely friendly staff with warm, sincere smiles – something you don’t see often in Perth’s café scene these days. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
