I had the $12.50 scallop pie, it did not have much flavour and the pastrie was a bit doughy, it was dissapointing sadly. But i know the breads are good. ๐
Today we accidentally found this gem in the morning and we just had the best pie in our life. Relish is also so good, strongly recommended.
Very nice bakery and cafe. Good menu with lots of selection. Not much parking in the neighbourhood.
Been here a few times and itโs been alright but today was a big miss. First of all itโs a quiet Monday morning. The place wasnโt busy and there were plenty of staff but they all seemed stressed. I ordered an iced long black.. when it came it was still hot.. then the few bits of ice melted and it was warm. How hard is it to make an iced drink cold. Then we got our food. Had the 5 mushroom bruschetta. The mushrooms were cold and full of coriander seeds.. like so many it wasnโt nice. I donโt mind waiting longer if it means my food is warm. Thatโs not even the worst partโฆ the rocket. Iโve added pictures. How does someone put rocket like that on a plate and go yeah thatโll do and then how does a server deliver that to a table. Pretty wild. Real bad. Probably will never go back. The custard berlina was alright though.
Such a great place for breakfast, chit chat with thy friends. Had the Mushrooms Brie sundried tomato and bacon w cheese Croissant, yum yum yum! so good and perfectly toasted!! with some rocket on the side instead of inside the croissant became wet and soggy. service are definitely the best in Hobart!
