The best dining experience I’ve ever had. Every bite of food was incredible. Standouts were tempura tofu, terichiki, and brownie with matcha ice cream. The plum wine on the rocks was the perfect accompaniment. The atmosphere was wonderful too, casual and quiet yet elevated and sophisticated; perfect for date night. The service was outstanding. Everyone was so warm and friendly, and we received the most lovely welcome from the team in Japanese. Lastly but definitely not least, the fact that it is 100% plant based is so powerful to stand against animal cruelty, and showcases the fact that you don’t need to abuse animals to enjoy a 10/10 meal. Anyone vegan or not would be blown out of the water. Thank you 🙏🏼

This is quickly becoming my all time favourite restaurant…the only problem, it’s just so far from Adelaide! I found this little gem a few months ago and enjoyed the perfect birthday dinner. It was so good, we are here again for another birthday….please open a restaurant in Adelaide ❤️ we will be back again the next visit to QLD

Simply the best Japanese (plant-based) food I’ve had in Australia! Everything was top quality — from the fresh ingredients to the beautifully presented dishes and warm, traditional service. Loved Izakaya Midori’s vibe, friendly staff, and spot-on flavours. Tried a few dishes and can’t wait to come back for more. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Japanese, plant-based, or just great food! 🌿🍱

After a day of flying and getting sorted, I didn’t have a chance to eat before leaving adelaide. Shortly after leaving the car rental place, I looked for local places (that were open) which had vegan food. I stopped into Izakaya Midori and I was not disappointed. A beautiful atmosphere and plenty of little spots to sit and enjoy whilst waiting for food. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Including suggestions of what to get. I ended up getting an entree and main and it hit just the spot. Incredible food with great flavours.

*Hands down the best vegan restaurant on the Gold Coast* My partner and I were mind blown by the staff, hospitality and food! Every dish was SO flavourful! We ordered 6 and Not a single one let us down. It was my bday and they made a special surprise by giving me the ice cream and everyone left the kitchen to sing me happy bday. I’m very grateful and extremely happy with the experience!
