My partner and I went last night for our anniversary. We got the culinary taste of Italy menu. It was Devine. My favourite was the beef tartare, my partners the octopus, but all fabulous food. The service was amazing too. The lady serving us recommended a red wine that went perfectly with the menu. It started cold and having a slight sweetness and as it warmed it complimented the richer food/meat. Highly recommended this place.

I visited IGNiS after friends who live in Palm Cove recommended it to me. I had the Journey through Italy tasting menu which was superb. I got to the end of the meal without feeling overwhelmed by eating too much. Rather I had a sense of deep enjoyment at the experience. The service by staff is exceptional. They are attentive and keen to make you feel welcome. This is so very important when you are on your own at dinner. However I observed the same care and attention with every guest. I began the meal with a prosecco and later the Italian Pinot Grigio. Both delightful accompaniments to the beautiful meal. Thank you, I will certainly be back next time I come to Palm Cove.

I have to say I am absolutely LIVID that I cant just steal the servers and chefs and take them home with me!! We felt like some Italian food and came across IGNIS and thought we'd give it a go. We rocked up expecting perhaps a more casual spot but it definitely wasn't the case - perfect for a romantic date night. The servers were absolutely lovely and talked us through the menu with recommendations and adjustments to suit our dietary needs. To be honest, at first I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a la carte but my god was I quickly thankful that that didn't deter us. The food was IMPECCABLE! As people who often eat out at different restaurants we couldn't believe the taste! The entrees were the most incredible food to hit our mouths very quickly leading us to agree to get dessert no matter what if the entrees were that good. Then came our pastas.... And WOW! The taste was unlike anything either of us had ever had before. Everything tasted so fresh and were paired together so well. The dessert also did not disappoint but unfortunately in our excitement to try it we forgot to take a photo!!! DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR - Dress up for a nice night out and come to IGNIS! We'll 1000% hop on a plane just to come back here!!!

We had a fantastic experience at Ignis last night. We were welcomed with great energy from the ladies at the front and the staff were very knowledgeable about every dish. The food was exceptional from entrée to dessert. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend ⭐️

We stumbled across this place at night after checking out a few other restaurants, and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, it felt so warm and welcoming. The real highlight of our experience was Maddy, she was absolutely amazing! Her energy, kindness, and genuine care made us feel right at home. She took the time to explain the menu, made the best recommendations, and honestly went above and beyond for us. You could tell she really loves what she does. The food was next-level, every dish was delicious, especially the pasta with the pumpkin cream sauce (I’ve never had anything like it before!). The chef was also super friendly, which added to the whole experience. We’re on holidays here in Cairns and had been struggling to find good halal food, but this place exceeded every expectation. Thanks to Maddy and the team for making our night one to remember. Easily the best dining experience we’ve had! highly recommend this gem!!!
