Have been here a number of times with friends. Until now everything has been great. Our shared platter meals were great as we have experienced before. But this time we decided to have dessert. Some wanted sorbet, no go had run out. Changed to Gelato, which was pretty much like store bought ice-cream. That was not the main dessert issue though. Some of us chose rice pudding - omg - it came out in a container that looked like cat food container - small square foil tray, and must have had a lid they peel off. There was nothing about this dish that lead anyone to believe they had made it. It tasted very cheap and sugary. For $13 plus for rice pudding I would expect it would have been made in the kitchen, not served a small square foil tray from the fridge. Big fail there. We may go back in the future as we've always enjoyed it, but we definitely won't be wasting $$ on any desserts.
Takeaway orders always take far longer than advised over the phone. Usually reasonable quality food, but tonight was a joke. $20.90 for the grilled octopus and it was obviously the dregs, a small amount of tiny pieces in the bottom of the container.
Absolutely beautiful food and the atmosphere is such a safe comfortable space to sit and chat with friends. I've been twice now with my friend Lorraine and it's absolutely our favourite spot to catch up and enjoy. Definitely recommend giving this authentic delicious restaurant a try!
Been to the old and now the new place. Food was good and quick, lot bigger than the old spot, everyone enjoyed their meal, could do with a full lamb dish though otherwise all good.
What an amazing evening! We chose to celebrate my twin boys 22 Birthday at Icarus Greek. We are so glad we did! The service was fantastic, food brilliant, and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The manager that took our order was brilliant, and the young ladies that were serving were great. The food is truly amazing . There are so many bursting flavours. Thanks to everyone. A small kitchen at the back producing great food. Well done. We will be back . Thank you for helping make my sons 22 birthday memorable ❤️ 💪👍👊🙏.
