Amazing Food! Amazing Cocktails! Amazing Atmosphere! Staff were lovely and it was so good watching the pizzas being made. Recommend booking in advanced as it is quite busy even on weeknights. 10/10 recommend.

Had an amazing dinner at The Tipsy Italian in Islington with a friend and we were blown away by this place! We had a yummy pinot grigio and the menu has a great variety — we honestly struggled to choose what to eat, but Alessio and the staff were super helpful with their recommendations. Ended up going with the bruschetta crust (highly recommend), calamari fritti, tipsy delight calzone and the boscaiola pasta — all were absolutely delicious! The restaurant felt cosy and the service was incredible which really made the night feel special. Can’t wait to come back and try their all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Highly recommend this place!

A most enjoyable evening. We sampled 3 different wines before choosing the Sangiovese. Garlic pizza, mixed olives and white bait for Entree were all very good. Then we tried veal dishes for mains all also very good. Finished with gelato. Will have to return to sample several of the other mains that appealed. $80 per person.

This was my first visit here. The service was incredible from the start and never ceased - we were welcomed with open arms and felt so special! The atmosphere was intimate but lively, not too loud and aesthetically pleasing inside. The food was INCREDIBLE! We ordered an entree, two pastas and a pizza. Definitely up there with some of the best I’ve had in Newcastle. I will 100000% be coming back and intend to be a regular! Such a fabulous dining experience.

What a fantastic evening! Food was divine and service was amazing. The waiter also had great photography skills. :-) Great portions sizes, quality food and an awesome drinks menu from house wine to cocktails. Will definitely dine again.
