Really good sushi at a fair price. Their fried chicken is nice and moist though I think it’s mostly breast. The gyoza is really yummy too. It gets very busy during lunch so probably better to visit during off peak time

Great value for money and super speedy service. Love the karaage chicken dish, they really fill it up with chicken not just rice. Next time I’ll grab their ramen. Definitely coming again.

Always such a great experience coming here. The food is great and the staff are always so lovely. I love sitting on the third level because the view while eating a great rice bowl adds to the experience. Recommend to everyone and everyone I've recommended this place to has loved it. Where else can you get an amazing lunch for under ten bucks?

We had Unagi Don ($16.5), Chicken Katsu Don ($14.5), Tempura Udon and Chicken Udon ($14.5 each). They tasted okay but not too outstanding compared to high quality authentic Japanese food. This will be a cheap alternative whenever you are craving for Japanese food on a low budget.

Tried out the Teriyaki Chicken pack, Vegetable Tempura roll, and Vegetable Tempura Nigiri! The veggie tempuras were very good, would rate 4/5 However, the Teriyaki Chicken was a tad bit stale, which was unfortunate. Overall, I usually enjoy my meals from Honten and will try again in the future
