Came to Hola Amigo for the first time for an impromptu summer weeknight birthday dinner. Wow, why haven’t I been here before!? I had the birria tacos and the prawn burrito, washed down with a spicy margarita and a serving of the cinnamon nachos to finish…my taste buds will be dancing for the next week!!! All so so delicious, fresh and super tasty. It was busy but had a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend coming here and I will definitely be back over and over again in the future! Just wish I got photos of my food before I scoffed it down! 😋😋😋 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Tried the Birria Taco and Chilaquiles — both were full of flavour and really satisfying. Crispy, juicy birria with a delicious consommé, and chilaquiles done just right. Great portions and authentic taste. Definitely worth visiting in Semaphore! 🌮

Absolutely incredible food. The cheesy loaded fries with beef was an incredible starter. I had the fajitas with chicken as the main and it was spectacular. Absolutely delicious food. Wonderful service. Next time I'm craving Mexican, this is the place in going! 10/10 can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious food. Thank you so much.

Decent Mexican food, the type with that 'messy' style plate presentation. The prawn burrito I ordered had crumbed, deep fried prawns, and had I known I would've ordered something different. The Chicken Chimichanga was pretty good. Both orders were extra for Guacamole - $4ea for a tablespoon full. The frozen Margarita was OK but lacked a real lemon/lime citrus 'pucker' and had no real flavour. Service was quick and friendly but the waitress was very quiet and not particularly enthusiastic. Please fix your frozen Margaritas, they need FLAVOUR! Good.

Such a great experience at Hola Amigos Semaphore! The service was amazing, especially the Filipino guy who served us. He was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really looked after. The birria tacos did not disappoint - tender, juicy, packed with flavour, and the tortilla was fried to perfection. The nachos were perfectly loaded without being soggy, just how we like them. We also ordered the cinnamon nachos for dessert and they were so good. We were too excited to eat them that we completely forgot to take a photo. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend for families.
