Hikari is our favourite restaurant in Brisbane, my partner and i come here whenever we have the chance. The chefs and all waitstaff (especially Kalia!!!!) Are so warm and friendly. The food is always incredible, especially the sashimi and nigiri, whcih we recommend to everyone who will listen. Incredible place ❤️ grazie mille ragazzi xxx

Wagyu was soooo good 🥹❤️ Came with kimchi and it matched perfectly, such a good balance. Service was super nice as always. Been here a few times and it’s amazing every single time. They’re doing such a great job 👏

As a well travelled connoisseur of Japanese food, I was keen to sample this side street well rated establishment. Food was ok, service was sub-par (multiple asks for water) and the drinks are pedestrian. Core thing that saved it is the sake list and one waitress who talked us through everything. Felt like a poor man’s Nobu

I had the pleasure of returning to this amazing little Japanese restaurant yesterday after a few years, and it did not disappoint! We were pleasantly surprised to find they were open all afternoon on Sunday and arrived around 3 PM without a reservation. Despite being busy, we were seated quickly and comfortably. The service was impeccable; attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food came out quickly and was absolutely top-notch. The sashimi was fresh and melted in my mouth, the kara-age was the crispiest, hottest, and best I’ve ever had, and the crispy rice tuna sushi was a delightful explosion of textures and delicate flavors. With happy hour and lunch specials, the meal was also very well priced. Truly a fantastic experience - we’ll definitely be back!

Came here tonight for my dad’s birthday. All the food was SO delicious!!! It took a while to come out but when it did, omg🤤🤤🤤 Would recommend the Madam Teruko for a lemony, not too sweet cocktail!
